Asif Naseem Tapped to Continue the Company’s Success and Drive Future Growth

Milwaukee (December 17, 2014) – The Board of Directors of Paragon Development Systems (PDS, Inc.), a technology solutions and services company, has named Asif Naseem as the company’s new President and CEO.

Asif Naseem has a Ph.D. in computer engineering and has been consulting with PDS since May 2014. Naseem has extensive experience leading software, systems and applications businesses for public and privately held companies, including AT&T Bell Labs, AT&T-NCR, Motorola and Oracle Corporation, along with multiple startups. He is also an M+Visión Visiting Fellow at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

“PDS is a strong and financially secure company, with impressive prospects for future growth and profitability. This transition is consistent with the long-term strategy the company is pursuing to address the evolving information technology needs of the market and PDS customers,” said John T. Byrnes, PDS Chairman of the Board. “Asif brings broad experience across the technology sector, and we believe he has the talent and energy to lead PDS and accelerate its success. We are grateful for Jonathan Ravdin’s tireless leadership that has put the company on its current path.”

Former PDS President and CEO Dr. Jonathan Ravdin, an active participant in the succession planning process, will continue on the board as Vice Chairman and assume the position of Chief Medical Officer of PDS. “Mobility, virtualization and social media continue to profoundly impact how our customers and partners conduct their business. As they embrace the evolving challenges and opportunities associated with these phenomena, PDS is uniquely positioned to address their information technology needs,” said Naseem. “I am excited about the opportunity to help PDS achieve its next stage of growth by leveraging the core strengths of the PDS team, building upon relationships with our customers and partners, and augmenting our business with new opportunities.”

Naseem’s appointment has been well received by PDS’ technology partners. “As a long-standing partner of PDS, we welcome the news of Asif’s appointment to President and CEO,” said CJ Bruno, Intel vice president and general manager of the Americas. “Under his new leadership, we look forward to continuing our partnership of innovation to meet the needs of PDS’ customers in the healthcare, education, government and corporate sectors.”
