OEM Fabricators: Expands into Phillips, Wisconsin

OEM Fabricators announced today that it plans to expand into Phillips, Wisconsin. OEM’s current operation in Prentice will be moved to a new location in Phillips. It’s expected that all current Team Members will be continue with OEM in the new location. OEM currently has 28 positions in the area.

The new location will allow OEM to scale up its’ welding capacity and pave the way for additional processes to be added to the operation.

S. Mark Tyler, OEM’s president attributed the expansion to three main factors: “The availability of a talented workforce with a strong work ethic is critical, and we have found that with our Team in the area. The recent expansion of Northcentral Technical College’s Phillips Campus with a strong focus on manufacturing assures a pipeline of future talent. And finally, the availability of a ready-to-go manufacturing facility all contributed to our decision to commit growing in the area.”

OEM expects to be operating in the new facility in October.

OEM employs just over four hundred Team Members in Woodville, Neillsville, Baldwin, and soon Phillips. As its’ name implies, OEM serves the needs of Original Equipment Manufacturers with services such as contract manufacturing, supply chain optimization, and design assistance.
