Navitus: Clients give Navitus top overall customer satisfaction rating in PBMI survey for a third time

MADISON, Wis., May 20, 2014–Navitus Health Solutions, LLC announced today that it has received the top rating for overall customer satisfaction among smaller pharmacy benefit managers that serve 20 million or fewer members, according to a survey conducted by the Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute (PBMI). Navitus received an overall satisfaction score of 9.3 out of 10.

Reflecting Navitus’ focus on results-driven client stewardship and evidence-based clinical consultation, the company scored a 9.9 on formulary management, 9.6 on trend management programs and 9.6 on being relationship-oriented.

Navitus received a top satisfaction score of 10 by 77% of its responding customers, compared with 0%-67% for other PBMs in the same size group. Additional survey categories included, but were not limited to, delivering promised savings, delivering promised services, commitment to good customer service, and effective tools to manage drug benefit costs.

PBMI conducted the survey in January 2014. Respondents included 394 U.S. plan sponsors representing more than 64.7 million members. For nearly two decades, the PBMI annual customer satisfaction survey has evaluated the quality of services of PBMs as a group and includes individual PBM profiles.
