MILWAUKEE, WI (November 4, 2014) – Marie G. Bahoora and Y. Douglas Yang have joined the Milwaukee office of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP as attorneys in the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group and Labor and Employment Relations Practice Group, respectively.



Bahoora will focus on commercial litigation in her position at Michael Best. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Bahoora worked in Madison as an intern for Justice Ann Walsh Bradley in the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Her previous experience also includes serving as an intern in the Drug Unit at the Dane County District Attorney’s Office, an extern in the Civil Litigation Unit at the Wisconsin Department of Justice and a student attorney for the Wisconsin Innocence Project. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013 and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.



Yang’s practice focuses on employment litigation, as well as employee benefits compliance and litigation. Before joining Michael Best, Mr. Yang worked with Draper Laboratory in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as an extern in the General Counsel’s Office. Mr. Yang also previously interned at the Queens District Attorney’s Office in New York City. While in law school, Mr. Yang served as a student attorney in the law school’s criminal litigation clinic. There he represented indigent clients in both felony and misdemeanor cases. He earned his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law in 2014 and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History in 2010.
