Attic Angel Health Center Receives Highest Rating from U.S. News & World Report
The Attic Angel Health Center at the Attic Angel Community, 8301 Old Sauk Road, has received the highest possible overall rating of five stars in the U.S. News & World Report’s sixth annual Best Nursing Homes.
The study used data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, a federal agency that assesses homes based on health inspections, level of nurse staffing, and quality measures and gives each an overall rating. The Centers for Medicare & Medical Services has consistently rated Attic Angel Health Center as a five star facility since the rating system started six years ago.
The Attic Angel Health Center is part of a recently completed $8 million expansion and renovation at Attic Angel Place which includes apartment living through skilled nursing care. Among other improvements such as a wellness center and enhanced therapy areas, all 44 units of the skilled care health center were converted into private rooms.
