Madison, WI – Organizations looking for ways to reduce costs, reduce errors, increase productivity and increase customer satisfaction can benefit from a pair of LEAN 201 workshops on waste and DMAIC. Both workshops in the series will be held in Room 150 on the Deming Way campus of Edgewood College from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The cost to register for each workshop is $275.00, with a $50.00 discount for WCPE members. • Waste! I Hate It and So Should You (February 14th) will provide attendees with tools and techniques to identify, prioritize, and eliminate waste.

• DMAIC: Taking the WASTE Out of Your Processes (March 14th) will cover taking a team through the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) improvement process. Participants will learn to facilitate many of the key tools and techniques to reduce cycle-time and reduce cost.

Series facilitator Walter Jankowski is a Reinvention Consultant and the owner and principal in Reinvention, LLC, a Madison-based consulting firm. He provides organizational improvement services for businesses, governments, school systems, and not-for-profit organizations.
