WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. — The Wilderness Hotel & Golf recently named Chris Ebben, attractions manager, the resort “Manager of the Year”, and Jeanny Ray, maintenance administration, the resort “Employee of the Year”. Each will get to select a vacation from select destinations anywhere in the United States and abroad as well as $1,000 as a thank you for a job well done.

The resort also named Josiah Kath, facilities set up manager, “S.T.A.R.S. Customer Service Manager of the Year”, and Tasha Royals, reservations, “S.T.A.R.S. Customer Service Employee of the Year”. Each will get a $500 check for their accomplishments.

Ebben has been with the resort since 1999 and serving as attractions manager since February 2012. He is responsible for overseeing the zip line, indoor sky ropes course, all mini golf courses, haunted hotel, outdoor go carts and laser tag at the resort. He holds an Associate of Arts and Science degree from UW Baraboo/Sauk County. He resides in Baraboo, Wis.

Ray was hired in May 2005 and has been serving in maintenance administration since September of 2007. In this role, she is responsible for keeping track of the resort maintenance team and their work orders. She also coordinates all construction projects. She resides in Portage, Wis. where she enjoys spending time with family, reading and traveling whenever the opportunity presents itself. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Management and taught administrative assistant classes at MATC for 11 years before retiring to work for Wilderness Territory.

Kath has been with the resort since January 2008, and has been serving as facilities set up manager since January 2012. In this role, he is responsible for the set up, tear down, audio visual equipment set-up and audio visual tech at the conference center. He resides in Pardeeville, Wis. where he is an active member at Rio Assembly of God Church and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Royals serves as a reservation guide, and is responsible for helping future guests select accommodations that are appropriate for their group size and budget. She joined the reservation team in June 2009 after working at the front desk for one year. She resides in Baraboo, Wis.

The Wilderness Territory consists of over 600 wooded acres in Wisconsin Dells and is home to Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort, which features 444 guest rooms, 40 vacation villas, 76 Frontier Condominiums and 35 cabins.
