Tool, Die & Machining Association of Wisconsin: Student tours to promote manufacturing careers in Wisconsin

MILWAUKEE, WI – The Tool, Die & Machining Association of Wisconsin (TDMAW), a group of approximately 150 privately held, Wisconsin-based manufacturing companies, working to grow and strengthen manufacturing in our state, will host the second of two student tours to be held this October, in conjunction with “October is Manufacturing Month”.

On Tuesday, October 29th, from 9:30am-11:00am,TDMAW will be hosting approximately 30 students from The School of Career and Technical Education to tour Matzel Manufacturing, Inc. at 9001 W. Flagg Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53225.

In addition to the MPS students and MPS Guidance Counselors, Senator Lena Taylor and Department of Workforce Development Deputy Secretary Jonathan Barry will be attending the event. TDMAW looks forward to helping students connect what they are learning in their classrooms with the possibility of family-sustaining jobs in manufacturing, after graduation.
