MADISON, Wis. (July 31, 2013) –– This year, TDS Telecommunications Corp. (TDS®) employees and vendors who participated in the TDS Open raised $38,500 for the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County. According to the organization’s Chief Executive Officer, Michael Johnson, 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the Verona College Club.
Last year’s event, which benefited the Dane County Crime Victim Response Unit, raised more than $32,000. That’s a difference of more than $6,000!
The 28 teams of four teed off at The Legend at Bergamont golf course in Oregon, Wis. on Saturday, July 27. There was a raffle, lunch buffet, and prizes that were awarded to foursomes in 1st, 4th, 7th, 10th and last place.
