FREE INVESTING EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR OFFERED IN MIDDLETON

MADISON, Wis. — Summit Credit Union is holding a free educational seminar, “Investment Basics” on Thurs., July 18, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Seminar participants will learn:

About investment fundamentals, including the effects of inflation and compounding interest
How to identify financial goals, time horizons and risk tolerance, as well as how to understand the relationship between risk and return
The difference between cash equivalents, bonds, stocks and mutual funds, as well as the importance of asset allocation

The seminar is open to the public and will be hosted by Summit Credit Union, and held at the Wisconsin Trade Center, JP Morgan Conference Room, located at 8401 Greenway Blvd., in Middleton, Wis. (Across from Greenway Station). Refreshments will be provided.
