FREE FIRST-TIME CAR BUYING SEMINAR OFFERED IN SUN PRAIRIE
MADISON, Wis. — Whether you’re 16, 21 or 46, your first car purchase can be stressful. A no-regrets car purchase has little to do with the color of your car or even the stereo, and lots to do with a complete understanding of your options and costs.
On Wed., July 24, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., Summit Credit Union will host a free seminar, “How to Buy Your First Car,” that will provide the tools and information participants need to drive off a dealer’s lot with a purchase to feel good about, including:
What to consider when purchasing a first vehicle
How to find the best financing option
How repayment affects credit ratings
The five most important questions to ask the auto dealer
A simple way to figure out how much car you can really afford
How to calculate the actual cost of owning a vehicle
The importance of maintaining your new investment
The seminar will be held at the in the Community Room, at Summit’s Sun Prairie Branch, located at 1333 W Main St. in Sun Prairie. A complimentary light dinner will be served at the seminar, which is open to the public. Those interested in attending are asked to register by visiting http://www.summitcreditunion.com/community/events.html.
