MADISON, Wis. — There’s a new neighbor in town! Summit Credit Union has opened a new, eye-catching mortgage loan office, headed by a dedicated, full-time mortgage loan officer, in Watertown.
Located at 1610 S. Church St. the mortgage loan office resides in an existing space in the Riverplace Center and is a one-stop resource for new and refinance loans. The interior of the 1,200 square-foot branch has been professionally decorated and transformed into a virtual “stage,” inspiring people looking to take action on their dreams of home ownership and/or improvement.
A true-to-life scenario of a beautiful backyard commonly found in a typical Midwestern neighborhood, visitors enter the branch by walking on flooring with a wood decking appearance that overlooks a 39-foot wall mural of lush green grass, a gazebo, waterfall and neighboring houses off in the distance. To the side sits a modern “shed” housing an ATM, as well as a “planting table,” holding a coffee bar.
Other features include a customized, modular wall system which maximizes the space and includes slats that look like modern siding and glass with mullions to provide visibility. To complete the backyard ambiance, a window box planter and bird house has also been built into the system.
Rina Courtier has joined the branch as mortgage loan officer. Rina has been with Summit since 2011, most recently as a mortgage refinance specialist. She has more than seven years of experience in the banking/mortgage loan industry. The office will also be staffed by Tori Woolley, Mortgage Loan Office Specialist.
To check out the new branch, and to meet the staff in person, Summit is throwing a five-day house-warming party on Oct. 28 through Nov. 3. The public is invited to stop in anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., for complimentary snacks, surprises and special offers, including $250 off mortgage closing costs on a new or refinanced mortgage.
