MADISON, WIS. (September 4, 2013) – Stevens Construction Corp., a full-service, Wisconsin-based general contractor, is pleased to announce the construction of a new apartment building in Downtown Madison. Designed by Knothe & Bruce Architects of Madison, the Waterfront is a 71 unit infill redevelopment student housing project, located in the heart of the Langdon Street district at 625 N Henry St. The primary building consists of a six story residential project designed to blend the best of modern housing with the character and massing of the surrounding historic district. This project features underground parking for cars, bikes & mopeds, energy efficient & green building features and multiple levels of rooftop terraces. This is Stevens’ second large student housing project with local developers Chris & Jeff Houden of JCH Properties LLC. The project will be complete in August, 2014.
