[Beloit, WI / Rockford, IL] – The Stateline World Trade Association (SLWTA) will welcome Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation’s CEO, Reed Hall, as an honored presenter at the SLWTA’s annual Awards Banquet on Thursday, April 25, 2013.

Mr. Hall will present the SLWTA’s International Trade Award to each of two Stateline companies that have achieved significant growth that is attributable in some measure to their pursuit of opportunities in markets outside the U.S. This year’s honorees include:

Professional Power Products, Inc. is a full-service, vertically integrated supplier of power-generation equipment, with a complete line of products including fuel base and day tanks, enclosures, switchgear, electrical panels and loadbanks. PPPI sells primary and secondary power solutions for a variety of applications including utility, offshore oil and gas platforms, hospitals, data centers, and office buildings.

In announcing this year’s honorees, SLWTA’s president, Rep. Amy Loudenbeck, notes that “by recognizing these businesses annually with our International Trade Award, we strive to highlight examples of successful international strategies, in order that the Stateline business community may draw from them both inspiration and encouragement.“

The awards will be presented at the SLWTA’s annual Awards Banquet on Thursday, April 25, at the Butterfly Supper Club, 5246 East County Road X, in Beloit, WI. The Awards Dinner is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. The evening will begin with a networking cocktail hour starting at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:15 p.m., and the awards presentation at 7:00 p.m. The program will include presentations from the winning companies about their international activities.
