DE PERE, WIS.: High school students and parents are invited to attend a financial aid seminar at St. Norbert College on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the Fort Howard Theatre of the F.K. Bemis International Center, located at 299 Third Street.
The seminar will cover:
Federal, state and institutional financial aid programs
How to interpret financial aid award letters
Important deadlines
How to complete appropriate forms for grants, scholarships, federal work-study and student loans
Tips for searching for national, local and institutional scholarships
Financial aid officers from St. Norbert College, the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College will be involved in the presentation and Q&A session. To register, call the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce at 920-437-8704.
This free educational session is offered by Partners in Education, a program of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. If the seminar is postponed due to inclement weather, it will be held Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the same time.
