DE PERE, WIS: Paul Jadin, president of THRIVE, will present “Bold Economic Development Strategies for Wisconsin” as part of St. Norbert College’s CEO Breakfast and Strategy Series, on Wednesday, April 3, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at Butte des Morts Country Club in Appleton. The session is sponsored by Associated Financial Group.

THRIVE is an economic development partnership for the eight-county Madison region. Jadin brings a deep understanding of the state’s economic- development goals to the position. Prior to his role at THRIVE, Jadin was secretary of commerce and CEO of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, where he played the central role in developing a four-year strategic plan and two years of operating plans. He played a founding role in the creation of The New North, the regional economic-development organization for 18 counties in northeastern Wisconsin. From 2003 to 2011, Jadin was president and CEO of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, and prior to that, he served two terms as mayor of Green Bay.

During his terms as mayor, he established the On Broadway Main Street program and played a significant role in the Lambeau Field expansion agreement with the Green Bay Packers.

The CEO Breakfast and Strategy Series is an outreach to the business community by the Office of the President at St. Norbert College, featuring presentations by distinguished local, regional and national business leaders.
