St. Norbert College: Inventor of Goldieblox to appear at SNC Day

DE PERE,WIS.: Debbie Sterling, the inventor of Goldieblox toys, and founder and CEO of Goldieblox, Inc., will be on hand for the Midwest launch of the toys at SNC Day on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 11 a.m. Goldieblox toys are designed to inspire young girls to become engineers; they consist of a series of interactive books and construction toys starring Goldie, a curious girl with a love of engineering. Sterling graduated from Stanford University with an engineering degree.

The launch will take place in St. Norbert College’s new Cassandra Voss Center, home to the Joan P. Schaupp Women’s Center, St. Norbert College Men’s Initiative, and the college’s women’s and gender studies discipline.
