Appleton, Wisconsin (November 8, 2013) — SECURA Insurance, its independent agents, and its fans on Facebook rallied together to raise funds and spread awareness for breast cancer research during the company’s annual One by One campaign.
The company donated more than $25,000 this year to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) on behalf of those who participated. This makes SECURA’s five-year campaign total more than $106,000 given to the BCRF.
For each new MILE-STONE® home and auto policy and Specialty Lines account written between Aug. 1 and Oct. 31, 2013, the carrier donated money to the BCRF. Independent agents who represent SECURA in its 12 states helped make the campaign a success.
“Our agency partners truly care about helping others and showed support for this important cause during the entire campaign,” said John Bykowski, CEO. “They not only helped us raise funds, but they shared stories about how breast cancer has impacted their lives and those who are close to them to help us spread awareness.”
