Schenck S.C.: Announces new shareholders

WISCONSIN – Schenck S.C. is pleased to announce Mark DeBroux, CPA; Steve Franke, CPA; and Lonnie Hampton, CPA, have recently been named shareholders of the organization.

DeBroux serves as a member of Schenck’s Health Service team. His experience includes providing accounting, tax planning, consulting and administration services to independent health care providers throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. He has experience with managing practices on a part-time basis, reviewing and making recommendations for internal controls, and conducting operational assessments of business/billing office processes and procedures.

DeBroux is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance and has been with Schenck since 1991. He volunteers for Junior Achievement and Quarry Quest. DeBroux and his wife, Julie, have three children.

Franke serves as a co-leader of Schenck’s Real Estate and Construction team and is a member of the Manufacturing team. He has over 20 years of experience providing professional services to a diverse client base, and specializes in providing financial statement audit and accounting services to clients. Franke has particularly strong expertise in the construction industry and his background includes leading audits for both local and national contractors. He also has experience assisting with client advisory and accounting matters related to acquisitions, internal controls and preparing financial statement projections and forecasts.

Franke is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He is a board member for the Villa Loretto Nursing Home, Villa Rosa Assisted Living, and the Fond du Lac Area Foundation. He also volunteers for Agnesian HealthCare, where he serves on the committee for the Hospice Hope Cancer Care Charity Open. Franke and his wife Jean have four children.

Hampton serves as Schenck’s International Tax team leader. His experience includes tax planning and research for closely-held corporations, partnerships and individuals. Hampton’s responsibilities include the review and supervision of preparation of corporate, individual and partnership tax returns.

As leader of the International Tax team, Hampton advises clients on global entity structures, income tax treaty planning, and Interest Charge–Domestic International Sales Corporation (IC-DISC) implementation and operations. The IC-DISC provides an export incentive that results in substantial tax savings for companies with foreign sales. In addition, as part of the Manufacturing industry team, Hampton prepares research and development tax credit studies. He was also instrumental in forming Schenck’s mentoring program and chairs the program in Green Bay.

Hampton has been with Schenck since 1997 and graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He is the Director of the Thursday Breakfast Optimists in Green Bay. He and his wife, Colleen, have three grown children and four grandchildren.
