ROUGH Tailgate Fundraiser Takes on Cancer

MADISON, Wis. (November 5, 2013)—On November 9, as the UW Badgers get set to take on Brigham Young, ROUGH Sportswear will help take on skin cancer as they work to raise funds for Ann’s Hope Foundation during the Buckingham’s Bar & Grill tailgate party.

With the help of tailgate goers, ROUGH has been able to raise money and donate $1,000 each to four Wisconsin non-profit organization. “Football fans attending all of our tailgate fundraisers have given generously to different causes,” states ROUGH CEO Trent Jackson. “We then up what the fans have given with additional donations from Sara Investments and ROUGH Foundation. This time we’re working with Ann’s Hope, a group that raises awareness and funds to fight skin cancer and melanoma.”

ROUGH and Buckingham’s are partnering for every home Badger game, so far raising unrestricted support for the Madison-area Boys & Girls’ Club, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance, and American Parkinson’s Disease Association. The last two home tailgates of the UW season will raise money for Dane County Humane Society and Porchlight homeless solutions.

ROUGH tailgate fundraisers take place at Buckingham’s Madison Bar and Grill, 802 Regent St., Madison, WI. A total of seven non-profits are benefitting from this season’s parties. Buckingham’s 2013 tailgate fundraisers are also supported by WJJO Radio, Frank Beer Distributors, and Neider & Boucher law firm.
