MADISON, Wis. (November 25, 2013)—The Badger’s final home football game includes the ROUGH tailgate fundraiser to for Madison’s Porchlight homelessness solutions organization. The tailgate takes place Saturday, November 30, at Buckingham’s Bar & Grill in Madison.

“This is the time of year Porchlight needs the most help,” states ROUGH CEO Trent Jackson. “I think Badger fans braving the cold for pre-game fun will relate to the plight of a homeless winter in Dane County and give generously to this group that pushes a ‘hand up’ not a handout.”

Saturday’s tailgate marks the last of seven home-game party fundraisers hosted by ROUGH for UW football fans. Tailgates to date have raised $6,000 total and benefitted the Madison-area Boys & Girls’ Club, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance, American Parkinson’s Disease Association, Ann’s Hope Foundation, and the Dane County Humane Society. Porchlight is a non-profit that provides emergency shelter, food, employment services, counseling, and affordable transitional and permanent housing to homeless people in the Dane County.

ROUGH tailgate fundraisers take place at Buckingham’s Madison Bar and Grill, 802 Regent St., Madison, with support from WJJO Radio live broadcasts, Frank Beer Distributors, and Neider & Boucher law firm.
