Rough Sportswear: Big Ten Network to feature UW’s Trent Jackson

MADISON, Wis. (October 17, 2013)—Former Badger basketball standout Trent Jackson is scheduled to be featured in the October 25 episode of the Big Ten Network’s Forever B1G television show. Filmed in Madison over several days, the episode covers Jackson’s life since college basketball, his U.S., Asian and European basketball career, and the growth his new company ROUGH Sportswear.

Jackson played basketball for UW-Wisconsin from 1985-89 where he was a four-year starter and team captain in 1989. In his final year, Jackson led the program to its first postseason tournament in 47 years when the team played in the NIT Tournament. Jackson ended his UW basketball career as the program’s third all-time leading scorer, first in steals, and first in three-point field goal percentage. His statistics remain in the Badger history books, including ranking sixth in scoring, eighth in steals, and second in three-point field goal percentage.

The Trent Jackson Forever B1G is scheduled to air October 25, 6:30 p.m. CT. This year marks the first season of the show that reconnects fans with former Big Ten student-athletes to uncover where life has taken them after their athletic careers have ended. The Big Ten Network reaches more than 80 million homes in the United States and Canada.
