ELKHART LAKE, Wis. – Building on the tremendous success of this year’s The HAWK with Brian Redman, officials from Road America announced today that one of the largest vintage race car gatherings in the United States will pay tribute to the Ford Mustang as the featured marque as Ford celebrates the Mustang’s 50th Anniversary in 2014. A mid-summer classic including everything from the widely popular Nationwide Insurance Concours d’Elegance on Friday and Saturday along the streets of Elkhart Lake, to a Historic CAN-AM race with an impressive field of cars are expected to gather in celebration of CAN-AM’s 48th Anniversary — making the 2014 HAWK with Brian Redman a can’t miss spectacle for any racing enthusiast. The event will take place on its traditional weekend of July 17-20, 2014.

“The HAWK with Brian Redman is a great weekend for hundreds of vintage racers and thousands of fans every year, plus the Ford Mustang is an excellent featured marque for us in 2014,” stated George Bruggenthies, president and general manager of Road America. “Road America is very proud to pay tribute to Ford and usher in the Mustang’s 50th anniversary celebration with a racer’s reunion, races for club and pro series-vintage, historic and contemporary racers. We are equally excited to have Nationwide Insurance hosting the Concours d’Elegance in downtown Elkhart Lake with expert and people’s choice awards, plus track touring, parade laps and a vendor marketplace making the 2014 HAWK with Brian Redman an event that everyone of all ages can enjoy.”

More details for the The HAWK with Brian Redman including entry information, qualifying procedures, concours information and tickets are expected in the coming months.
