MILWAUKEE – The Business Journal, serving Greater Milwaukee, recognized Reinhart business law shareholder Meghan K. Shannon among the winners of the publication’s “40 under 40” awards for 2013. On March 4, the Business Journal honored Shannon and the other recipients at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.
Shannon practices in all areas of corporate, business and finance law, including mergers and acquisitions; private placements; supply, distribution and franchise law; contract drafting and review; and general business consultation. Shannon serves a wide range of business clients, including large national manufacturing corporations, middle market private equity groups and smaller manufacturing, service and technology companies. She is among Reinhart’s most experienced corporate transactional attorneys.
Deeply committed to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Shannon currently serves as President of the Komen Foundation’s Southeast Wisconsin Affiliate. For the three years prior, Shannon served as Treasurer and a member of the Affiliate’s Board and Executive Committee. In addition, she is one of the Affiliate’s top individual fundraisers and has led efforts to assemble individuals from numerous professional service firms for Komen networking and fundraising.
Shannon is also active in a number of other community and business organizations, including the Zoological Society of Milwaukee and Junior Achievement. Additionally, she is on the Milwaukee Athletic Club’s Board of Directors and a member of TEMPO and the Notre Dame Club of Milwaukee.
Each year, The Business Journal-Milwaukee’s “40 under 40” program honors forty Milwaukee-area individuals under the age of forty who are making a difference in their professions and communities.
