Joseph D. Masterson Named Milwaukee Office Corporate Services Chair
MILWAUKEE, Wis. (April 12, 2013) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announces that Kenneth V. Hallett has been named national Corporate Services Practice Group chair. Hallett succeeds Michael M. Grebe, another partner in the firm’s Milwaukee office, who has led the group since 2009. In addition, Joseph D. Masterson has been named the Milwaukee office’s Corporate Services Practice Group chair.

Ken Hallett has been a member of the firm’s Milwaukee office since 1980 and focuses his practice in the area of securities law (including offerings, continuing compliance and corporate governance), with a related practice in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and other corporate law matters. He also practices on the Financial Institutions Team, focusing on financial institution acquisition and expansion transactions. Hallett recently was named the Best Lawyers® 2013 Milwaukee Financial Services Regulation Law “Lawyer of the Year.” He received his law degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School and his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
Joe Masterson has been a the firm’s Milwaukee office since 1978 and practices in the areas of corporate governance, public securities offerings and compliance, internal investigations, general corporate and limited liability company matters. He has had extensive experience representing corporate clients in various matters, including SEC securities registrations and periodic reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley and Dodd-Frank compliance, stock and asset purchase transactions and business acquisition transactions. He received his law degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School and his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Culver-Stockton College.
