MILWAUKEE, WIS. (November 20, 2013) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Rachel H. Bryers has joined the firm’s Milwaukee office as an associate in the Health Law Practice Group.
Prior to joining the firm she was a senior law clerk at Assurant Health in their Legal Department. There she researched and reported on the Affordable Care Act, researched and analyzed state laws to determine their applicability to and effect on products developed and sold by Assurant, and reviewed contract language to determine compliance with legal requirements. Prior to law school Bryers served as a student researcher at the Criminal Justice Research Project and as an intern at Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
She received her law degree, cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and her undergraduate degree, with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin.
