MILWAUKEE, Wis. (May 22, 2012) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Amalia L. Todryk, a partner in the firm’s Milwaukee office, was designated chair of the Estate & Trust Section of the Milwaukee Bar Association (“MBA”). She will take over for current chair, Jennifer M. Olk in September and complete her term in June 2014.
Todryk is a member of the firm’s Trusts & Estates Group. Her practice focuses on estate planning and wealth preservation strategies for individuals, small business owners and professionals. Todryk’s experience includes: preparing wills, trusts, marital property agreements, financial powers of attorney, and health care powers of attorney, traditional bypass trust and marital deduction planning, charitable estate planning, generation-skipping transfer tax planning, asset protection planning, and estate and trust administration. In 2010 she was named an “Up and Coming Lawyer” in Wisconsin by the Wisconsin Law Journal. She received her law degree from Marquette University Law School and her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
