Madison – A public hearing regarding the application of the Wisconsin Power and Light Company to install a dry flue gas desulfurization system at its Edgewater Generating Station on Unit 5 will take place as noticed tomorrow, unless the Governor closes state office buildings due to inclement weather.
As a result of potentially dangerous driving conditions, the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) has extended the online public comment period on the application until Friday, March 8, 2013 at noon, and encourages anyone who may have difficulty driving to file their comments online instead.
Members of the public wishing to submit comments on the application may do so at the Public Comments section of the PSC’s web site, available here: http://1.usa.gov/WEf8iG.
