MADISON – Broadband planning will take centre stage at a symposium hosted by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) and its LinkWISCONSIN initiative in April. The PSC announced today the 2013 Broadband Planning Symposium will be held April 4-5, 2013 in Madison.
The Symposium will bring together diverse stakeholders and provide an opportunity to build partnerships, explore various broadband planning efforts, and facilitate future collaboration on additional steps that can be taken to work toward a common goal of enhancing broadband across the state.
“Broadband access is critical for Wisconsinites looking to expand their business and compete in the global marketplace,” said Phil Montgomery, Chairperson of the Public Service Commission. “I’m pleased to bring together leading voices and key decision-makers at the 2013 Broadband Planning Symposium to facilitate broadband planning and deployment.”
