Milwaukee, Wis. – February 1, 2013 – The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) has named Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling of Southeast Wisconsin as a winner in the 2012 Wisconsin Remodeler Award (WRA) categories including a Gold Award for Residential Interiors Over $100,000 and a Bronze Award for Bathroom Remodeling Projects between $15,000 and $30,000. The Paul Davis office was also honored with a Silver Award for Disaster Restoration, Fire. The honors were presented for projects in the Milwaukee area. The restoration and remodeling firm is a member of the NARI Milwaukee, WI Chapter. The awards were formally presented on January 18 at WRA’s banquet at Intercontinental Milwaukee.
“The entire Paul Davis team has been recognized for many years by NARI and WRA judges who are experts in the industry and associated fields,” said Dan Druml, Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling of Southeast Wisconsin’s President and Owner. “The winning projects were submitted with detailed, before-and-after photography and project descriptions. Awards were based on problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of difficulty, and entry presentation,” Druml said. “Everyday, we thank our employees who manage and implement all of our jobs. We especially appreciate the talents of those staff members who worked on the award-winning projects in southeast Wisconsin,” he said.
Specifically, Druml and his team won the Gold Award for a Milwaukee residential project which transformed an arctic shell, unfinished two-story condominium interior that lacked HVAC, lighting, plumbing, ceilings, electricity and interior walls into a contemporary living space. Following the homeowner’s vision, a modern oasis was created through custom finishes and material selections resulting in high style city living. The Bronze Award was presented for the remodeling of a children’s bathroom into an adult space with a more efficient layout, modernization, custom cabinets and fixtures, and additional square footage. The Silver Award for Disaster Restoration, Fire was awarded for a restoration project in a three-story home with fire, smoke, soot and water damage.
