Patina Solutions: Appoints Greg Voeller as national practice director — change effectiveness

MILWAUKEE — Patina Solutions, the fast-growing firm that provides proven, accomplished professionals with 25+ years of experience for key projects and engagements, has appointed Greg Voeller as National Practice Director for its newly formed Change Effectiveness practice.

In this role, Voeller is responsible for growing Patina Solutions’ Change Effectiveness service offerings that help clients plan, achieve and sustain successful adoption of their key initiatives. This is an expanded role for Voeller, who joined Patina Solutions in early 2013 to lead and develop the firm’s service offerings in communication effectiveness.

“We are excited to provide clients with new focused service solutions in change management to help them more effectively execute their strategies, and we are pleased that Greg will lead this practice for us,” said Mike Harris, CEO of Patina Solutions. “Since he joined Patina Solutions, Greg has demonstrated a strong ability to work closely with executive leadership teams and functional managers on change programs and organizational communications that measurably support business strategies. Historically, only 30% of organizational initiatives effectively succeed, so we believe adding this capability will be a major asset to our clients.”

Voeller is currently a member of the Standards Working Group for the Association of Change Management Professionals. Comprised of 24 thought leaders and highly experienced change management experts from around the world, this Standards Working Group is chartered to lead the development of the first global standard for change management practitioners.

“Greg is clearly a global leader in change management, and he is passionate about improving the way companies handle change to maximize a successful outcome,” added Harris.

In his staff leadership roles, Voeller has directed global organizational communication programs for industry-leading companies, including Johnson Controls, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Rockwell Automation and Schneider National. As a consultant, he has successfully managed key initiatives for clients across a variety of industries, including healthcare, financial services, food and beverage, industrial supply, manufacturing and petrochemical.

Voeller’s experience includes leading and/or providing key contributions to successful change programs in areas such as organizational restructurings, business transformations, mergers and acquisitions, large system launches, new market or product offerings, continuous improvement, compliance, crisis management, employee engagement, employee relations, health and wellness, and internal/integrated branding. He has extensive background in advising and supporting CEOs and senior executives on their communication requirements, and he has created and facilitated a number of communication development coaching and workshop sessions for senior, emerging and front-line leaders.

“Patina Solutions is a rapidly growing company, and I am convinced we have the right model for today’s dynamic business environment to help clients achieve their initiatives and projects by effectively driving change at the people, process and technology areas,” said Voeller. “I am pleased to further add to Patina Solutions’ capability in helping clients achieve and sustain their goals through successful stakeholder adoption, all delivered by our experienced, knowledgeable professionals.”

Voeller earned his master’s degree in communication – with a leadership communication emphasis – from Northwestern University and his undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
