NCCM Announces Management Changes
October 3rd, 2013, River Falls, Wis . . . NCCM Company, the family-owned and operated manufacturer of non-woven mill rolls, announced a management restructuring today. NCCM was founded in 2009 when Brent and Julie Niccum purchased the mill roll business from 3M and opened for business. Brent Niccum, who has been serving as the firm’s CEO, will move to the newly created position of Chief Technology Officer. Julie Niccum, formerly President, will move to the position of CEO.
“We’ve been in business for five years now, and we’ve made significant strides in developing our business,” say Julie Niccum. “We currently employ 22 full-time personnel at our River Falls location where we manufacture and market a lineup of six mill roll products to primary metal processors in 33 countries on every continent around the world. Moving Brent to the position of Chief Technology Officer is intended to maintain our dedicated, long-term focus on mill rolls and their future in the metal finishing industry, while mine is to focus on business operations and sales and marketing efforts,” she concluded.
Brent Niccum is a former 3M business development manager who worked on the mill roll product line prior to purchasing it from 3M. “As much as I’ve enjoyed my role as CEO during the past five years, I’m looking forward to returning to my product development roots. If you’re not looking ahead and planning for the next significant product or business development, you’re really falling behind,” Niccum says. “We’re committed to the continuous product performance improvement and our technology and to expanding our company’s presence in metal processing industry.” The Niccums are residents of Hudson, WI.
