Milwaukee, WI (February 21, 2013) – The law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP is pleased to announce Martin P. Tierney has rejoined the firm’s Labor and Employment Relations Practice Group as a partner in the Milwaukee office, effective February 18, 2013.
Tierney counsels a wide range of national and global corporate clients on the implementation and operation of executive compensation arrangements, equity compensation plans, tax qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, payroll taxes, and employee benefits matters in mergers and acquisitions. He represents clients facing IRS and Department of Labor audits and also helps clients in preemptive actions, including internal plan audits and self-correction.
Martin Tierney received a B.A. from the University of Chicago in 1995 and earned a J.D. in 1998 from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
