Madison, WI (September 9, 2013) – The law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP is pleased to announce Cameron F. Field has joined the firm’s Environmental Practice Group in the Madison office, effective September 3, 2013. Six other Transactional attorneys have joined the firm in the past couple of months, with an additional member joining in October.

Prior to joining Michael Best, Field worked as a Summer Law Clerk in 2012 with Earthjustice and in the fall of 2012 as a Legal Intern for the U.S. Department of Justice, Environmental Enforcement Section. From 2011 to 2013 he was a Research Associate with the U.S. – China Partnership for Environmental Law and in the Spring of 2013 he worked as a Student Clinician with the Environmental and Natural Resource Law Clinic at Vermont Law School.

“Cameron’s background in Environmental Law has prepared him well for a position in our group,” commented Linda Bochert, Environmental Practice Group Partner, “We look forward to seeing the contributions he will be making to our growing team.” Recently, Michael Best added Angela James, former Vice President of Government Relations with the Wisconsin Paper Council to the same practice group. These two additions will complement the already robust and dedicated team of legal environmental professionals.

Field received his B.A., cum laude, in Political Science and Environmental Studies from St. Olaf College in 2010, and earned his J.D., magna cum laude, in 2012 from Vermont Law School.
