Madison International Speedway: Racing, fireworks on tap at MIS this Friday night

It’s Salute to America Night at Madison International Speedway this Friday night with exciting racing action on Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile and the area’s biggest and best fireworks show presented by ThunderCat taking center stage.

Highlighting the racing action will be the Big 8 Late Models, Midwest Trucks, and the Vintage cars. A large field of late model drivers is expected to be on hand to see who can take top honors in the 48 lap Big 8 feature.

Pit gates open at 3:30 with practice at 4:45, qualifying at 6:08 and racing at 7:30. The fireworks will follow the racing program..

Admission for ages thirteen and up is just $15.00 with children 6-12 at $5.00 and five and under are free.
