Idle Free Systems: Announces Jonathan Sagui as new materials planning manager

Madison, WI – Idle Free Systems, Inc., a leading idle elimination provider for fleets and the only manufacturer of the all-electric APU for the commercial trucking industry, announced today the appointment of Jonathan Sagui as Materials Planning Manager. Sagui will report to Steve Hecimovich, VP of Operations.

In his new position, Jonathan Sagui will plan and maintain resource requirements to support production demands for Idle Free’s all electric auxiliary power units (APU). His responsibilities will include supplier relations, order management and supply chain solutions to ensure tactical processes are in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

“Jonathan is an integral part of the Idle Free team,” said Robert Hopton, CEO of Idle Free. “His strong supply chain experience will ensure that we continue to produce top-of-the-line electric APUs with ultimate efficiency as we address the trucking industry’s increasing demand for our brand of APUs. Jonathan will make an immediate and positive contribution to our success.”

Previously, Sagui worked in the high paced, on-demand world of digital printing. Through strategic planning and implementation of a materials management process from the ground up, he helped his former company maintain its strategic advantage and competitive edge among printers through well-timed replenishment schedules and strong vendor relationships. Sagui was also a chair member of the Digital Solutions Cooperative Operations Committee where he played an active role in identifying material trends and educating the industry on proper SCM procedures.

“Idle Free is committed to excellence and ensuring all its customers and dealers have positive experiences with its APUs,” said Sagui. “I am excited about the opportunity to work closely with our suppliers, as well as our internal teams, to enhance Idle Free’s manufacturing process and deliver superior customer service.”

Sagui holds an MBA from the William Paterson University of New Jersey Graduate School of Business in Marketing and Operations and a B.S. from William Paterson University of New Jersey in Business Management.
