(Middleton, WI) – Hitters SportsPlex has joined forces with USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) Ambassador Kirk Lingner to bring you Pickleball, an exciting game that’s a cross between tennis, badminton and ping-pong. It’s one of the country’s fastest-growing sports, and a game the entire family can play together.

The public is invited to a Pickleball Open House on Saturday, March 2nd, from Noon to 5 p.m. at Hitters SportsPlex on Deming Road. Participants can learn the basics, try the game for free and meet USAPA Ambassador Kirk Lingner. The event is free and all ages are welcome.

Pickleball is played on badminton-sized courts with the net lowered to 34 inches in the center. Players use a perforated plastic whiffle ball and wooden or composite paddles. It can be played at a leisurely pace or at a highly competitive level—making it ideal for all ages and abilities.
