MILWAUKEE (Jan. 9, 2013) ─ Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. is pleased to announce the election of Paul F. Heaton, Maria L. Kreiter and John T. Reichert as the firm’s newest shareholders, effective immediately.

Heaton is a shareholder in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. He focuses his practice on a wide variety of commercial disputes, with an emphasis on serving clients in the insurance and financial services industry. Heaton received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and earned his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Marquette University.

Kreiter is a shareholder in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. She focuses her practice on complex business litigation, primarily in the areas of banking and financial services, business torts, contracts, corporate governance, consumer claims, and white collar defense and internal investigations. Kreiter received her J.D., cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and earned her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.

Reichert is a shareholder in the firm’s Banking & Financial Institutions Practice Group. He focuses his practice on corporate governance, capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, asset sales and purchases, regulatory and compliance matters, commercial lending transactions and general securities matters. Reichert received his J.D. from Marquette University Law School and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
