First Business, Wisconsin Family Business Forum: Introduce the Family Business First Awards of northeast Wisconsin

(APPLETON, WI) – March 15, 2013 – First Business, in partnership with the Wisconsin Family Business Forum of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, is pleased to announce the Family Business First Awards.

Family businesses are the backbone of Northeast Wisconsin. Many of these businesses have a proven track record of success in terms of sales, innovation, economic impact, profits, and employment. Due to the nature of being a family business, many believe strongly in giving back to the communities in which they live. Family Business First Awards have been designed to give proper recognition to these important businesses.

Nominations can be made by any third party to the family business, or by one of the family business members themselves. Nominations will be accepted through April 15, 2013 and the winners will be recognized on May 6 at the Wisconsin Family Business Forum Annual Dinner.
