FERRARI CLUB OF AMERICA TO HOST PUBLIC PARADE AND CONCOURS IN ELKHART LAKE

FERRARI VILLAGE FERRARI SPEEDVILLE
ELKHART LAKE, Wis., July 26, 2013 – The Ferrari Club of America (FCA) has announced that its upcoming meet at Elkhart Lake’s Road America, August 1-4, will include a public, internationally recognized FCA Concours d’ Elegance.

Elkhart Lake Wisconsin is an ideal destination for car lovers and racing enthusiasts because it is a revered place in the annals of Ferrari history in North America. It was at Road America in 1961 that the first gathering of the people that would go on to create the Ferrari Club of America took place. 2013 will be the fifth time that the club has come to town for its annual club wide international meet. Beyond this Elkhart Lake and Road America have made major contributions to the entire history of Ferrari. This six-day event promises to be an event to remember for Ferrari owners and spectators.

Setting a World Record

Thursday, August 1, is an all day event where Ferrari owners with their cars are admitted free to the track. They are invited to park their Ferraris and be counted as FCA works to set a record for Most Ferrari’s on a Track at Road America. The Concours d’Elegance judging and Coppa Bella Machina events will follow with judging standards so rigorous that the team of judges from across North America and internationally will be on-sight to perform these duties.

Ferrari Parade and Street Concours

Upon the completion of the FCA Concours d’Elegance at Road America, the public is invited to view the much anticipated FCA Parade and Street Concours starting at 6:00 p.m. The parade will feature 75-100 Ferraris and will run along the well-known Vintage Parade Route of Rhine Street to Lake Street, followed by a two-hour Street Concours. These same exceptional Ferraris, can be watched as they race at Road America for all to see and enjoy. General admission is $20 per day or $60 for a 4-day pass. Contact Road America at 800-365-7223 or buy online at www.roadamerica.com

Other Ferrari events include a charity auction to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Wisconsin as well as three days of races and activities on the track. FCA members will also enjoy seminars and presentations held at the welcoming Four Diamond Osthoff Resort.
