Brookfield, Wis. – Exhibit Systems, a premier exhibit company offering one-stop service for trade shows and events, has bolstered its marketing outreach with the hiring of Laurie Arendt as a marketing communications consultant.

Arendt brings more than two decades of experience writing for different audiences and across multiple platforms. Her background includes extensive work in journalism, public relations, online marketing, corporate materials and book publishing.

Arendt’s responsibilities at Exhibit Systems include internal communications, social media management, developing web site content and writing white papers and articles.

“The addition of Laurie Arendt significantly strengthens our ability to convey clear, concise messages about the value our products and services bring to customers,” said Dave Jentz, Vice-President of Exhibit Systems. “We look forward to her contributions in an exciting time of growth and new possibilities for our company.”

Arendt comes to Exhibit Systems from Nation Consulting, where she wrote articles, press releases, strategic planning documents and client materials. She is a longtime freelance journalist with the Ozaukee County News Graphic, and contributed articles to M Magazine for more than two decades. She also served as editor of Corporate Report Wisconsin.

Arendt has published nine books and edited two others. She compiled the oral histories of more than 300 veterans for a non-profit project that she founded. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

May 2013 has been a month of celebration for Exhibit Systems, which marked the recent move into its Brookfield location with a ribbon-cutting event and a public open house. The company relocated in early 2013 after completely remodeling the former industrial building at 12600 W. Burleigh Road. The vast new production, storage and showroom space positions Exhibit Systems to pursue even greater market opportunities, and continue to grow its menu of business-building displays and related services.

Exhibit Systems, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2012, specializes in results-oriented exhibits and displays for trade shows, interiors and other events. Dedicated to helping customers “Build a Better Image,” the company designs and fabricates custom, modular, and portable exhibits that promote face-to-face marketing. Its services also include rental exhibits, storage, transportation and on-site installation and dismantling of exhibits.
