Element Mobile: Increases network performance in central Wisconsin

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis., Jan. 9, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Element Mobile is announcing a partnership with global provider Bytemobile to bring customers increased video optimization speeds to its eight-county home network.

Bytemobile offers more than 50 wireless companies advanced video and web optimization viewing for mobile devices. Element Mobile will use Bytemobile’s product, Unison, for video and web optimization.

Unison will allow Element customers using a smartphone or feature phone with web capabilities to optimize video. Benefits include increased download speeds, faster caching and easier storage of commonly used video. Users will also experience reduced buffering time when downloading video and a significant decrease in network congestion.

Element Mobile started its process to implement Unison in October.

Al Aymar, chief operating officer of Element Mobile said that this product greatly enhances video streaming for Element customers.

“Unison allows each customer to experience the best quality of video depending on their device,” Aymar said. “Essentially, it customizes video for each handset downloading or viewing video.”

Element Mobile plans to continue network upgrades enhancing customer experience. Most recently, Element Mobile has added four new towers and several features to the network including Bytemobile and CMAS.
