Edgewood College: To offer classes at American Family Insurance

Madison, Wis. – Edgewood College today announced that beginning this fall, The School of Business will offer Project Management Graduate Certificate classes in the Education Center at American Family Insurance Headquarters, 6000 American Parkway in Madison.

The Project Management Graduate Certificate is a 15-credit applied program using actual case studies. It’s designed in alignment with the Project Management Institute’s Book of Knowledge. All courses are in compliance with ACBSP accreditation standards that assure high quality business education, and are taught by faculty with extensive corporate project management experience. Program completion helps prepare students for PMI Certification.

There are options available for working professionals: earn the stand-alone 15-credit graduate certificate, apply the credits toward your MBA, or simply take one or more classes. The accelerated format 8-week classes will meet one evening per week, 5:45 p.m. – 9:15 p.m. The first course in the series, “Project Management I – Foundations,” begins Monday, August 26 and continues through October 14, 2013. “Project Management II – Advanced Concepts” begins Monday, October 21 and continues through December 13, 2013.
