Edge Advisors Adds New Accounting Partner
West Allis, WI, December 17, 2013 — Edge Advisors LLC, an accounting and consulting firm, announced today that Marshall Watry, CPA, has joined the firm as a principal. He will be based in the Fox Valley, where Edge expects to open an office in the next year or so.
An expert in tax planning and practice management, Watry has worked exclusively in the medical and dental sector for nearly seven years. He comes to Edge from Appleton-based SVA, one of the top 60 accounting firms in the country.
Edge, founded in early 2012, is leading the return and rise of the mid-size accounting firm, amid a period of intense consolidation in the industry. Revenues have more than tripled, from $500,000 to $1.6 million and the firm has expanded from 4 to 18 employees. Landing Watry positions the firm both financially and strategically to pursue an acquisition strategy that Edge predicts within two years will make it the dominant health care accounting firm in the state.
