Kendall Packaging Corporation and Design Structures, LLC are excited to announce the ground breaking of Kendall Packaging’s new 55,428 square foot facility located in Jefferson, WI. Project completion is scheduled for late summer 2013. This follows the installation of a 10-color W&H Miraflex press at the Jefferson, WI location and a 10-color W&H Primaflex at the Pittsburg, KS location. The plant expansion will double the production and storage capacity of the facility.
“This expansion reflects the steady growth and expanding capabilities we’ve seen over the years,” states Director of Manufacturing, Nate Friedl. “By doubling our capacity and increasing our production capabilities we will be able to better serve our customers and build upon our success in the packaging industry.”
The plant upgrade comes after the successful launch of Kendall’s natural cheese and pet food and treat product lines. The expansion falls in line with Kendall’s commitment to invest in their facilities and equipment to improve efficiencies and work flows.
