MADISON – Become a more competitive exporter in just one day with the upcoming export education seminar. The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) reminds companies to register now for Tuesday, July 16 seminar titled “From Exporting Basics and Beyond.”

The seminar will be held at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, University Center, 500 Wild Rose Avenue, River Falls. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the seminar will conclude by 4:30 p.m.

Seminar topics include: export pricing and quoting, export documentation, navigating free trade agreements, locating buyers and accessing available resources. The day will include a finance panel on managing risk and ensuring liquidity.

The seminar will be taught by Dennis Lynch, M.I.B.A., a 31-year veteran of international trade who has held a variety of positions in the public and private sectors. Lynch provides customized technical export assistance to a variety of food and agricultural firms.

Sign up online for the seminar at foodexport.org by July 9. Space is limited. The $50 registration fee includes lunch.
