Dairyland Power: Seeks solar photovoltaic energy resources

La Crosse, WI— Dairyland Power Cooperative has issued a request for proposal (RFP) seeking renewable power resources from solar photovoltaic generation facilities.

The RFP seeks proposals from qualified bidders for at least 500 kilowatts (kW) of capacity with commercial operation to begin no later than Dec. 31, 2015. Dairyland is interested in receiving proposals to purchase power through a power purchase agreement (PPA) from the developer. Responses to the RFP are due no later than 2 p.m. CDT on August 15, 2013. A non-binding Notice of Intent to Bid is requested to be returned no later than July 1, 2013.
