MADISON, WISCONSIN – July, 2013 Cresa Madison represented The Art Commission, LLC in a relocation from their current Premises at Tenney Plaza on Capitol Square to The Cantwell Building, located at 121 South Pinckney Street. The Art Commission will occupy their new space in August.

The Art Commission was founded in 2012 by Toni Sikes and Terry Maxwell. The Art Commission’s mission is to connect artists with individuals, organizations and corporations seeking commissioned art. “The company has experienced amazing growth since their inception and were becoming very constrained in their current office space,” stated Rosss Rikkers, Principal at Cresa, “Their new location at the Cantwell Building will allow them to continue to hire new staff members and advance their mission.”

“Cresa did an absolutely phenomenal job for us” stated Maxwell, Co-CEO of The Art Commission, LLC. “They took the time to understand our needs up front, quickly identified all of the available options in the market, coordinated site visits and negotiated very favorable lease terms on our behalf. Without Cresa, we would not have had such a great outcome. I would encourage any business that needs new space to work with Cresa, they really care and go above and beyond to make sure you are getting the absolute best space for your business at the best possible terms.”

Cresa Madison was engaged by The Art Commission to assist them in identifying and securing a relocation option that could serve as the company’s headquarters and enable The Art Commission to expand their staff, yet remain flexible enough for future growth. Additionally, the premises needed to be located within walking distance of Capitol Square and support the company’s unique culture.
