Brookfield, Wis. – June 13, 2013 – Brookfield, Wis. Chiropractor, Dr. Taylor J. Poehls, has joined the Foundation for Wellness Professionals (FWP), an association of healthcare professionals who volunteer their time to help prevent disease and improve the health of their communities. The FWP is a national group of committed volunteers who donate their time, free of charge, to their community by providing healthcare workshops and screenings.
Dr. Poehls now provides health and wellness workshops for businesses in order to help the community discover more ways of achieving health and well-being. The free workshops include subjects such as reducing stress, ergonomics, the power of nutrition, exercise, weight loss, healthy aging and are offered to businesses in the area.
“I believe that individuals who are well-balanced in every aspect of their lives lead a healthier, happier life,” said Dr. Poehls.
Dr. Poehls counts the following companies among those where he has conducted workshops: North Shore Bank, Trinity Village, YMCA, Harley-Davidson Corporation, Wauwatosa Recreational Department, New Castle Assisted Living, LGO Global Sourcing, LLC, and others.
Dr. Poehls was awarded the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association’s Nels Bakke Award in 2012. The award, voted on by the WCA Board, honors chiropractors who have been in practice less than five years and recognizes the contribution of practitioners who have dedicated themselves to serving the profession and their community. Poehls was also voted Top Chiropractor in the Shepherd Express Best of Milwaukee Readers’ Choice Awards 2012 by the readers of Shepherd Express.
