Walter looks to help Boldt grow its power industry presence in the South
The Boldt Company announces the addition of Rick Walter to its power and energy executive team as vice president of power. Boldt has developed a strong presence as a construction services provider for the power industry across many disciplines including gas generation, coal generation, environmental retrofits, hydroelectric, wind and biomass cogeneration, as well as power plant maintenance services. Walter brings his experience to help continue to build Boldt’s customer base, particularly in the Southern U.S.
“Boldt has an outstanding reputation in the power industry and we are working to grow Boldt’s power footprint in the South to bring our value-focused services to a new group of customers,” said Walter.
Walter brings more than 27 years of power industry experience to his new position with Boldt. His broad background includes extensive work on combustion turbine-based facilities (both simple and combined cycle), air quality control system upgrades and solid fuel projects.

A Pittsburgh native, Walter has a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering from Texas A&M University. Walter also has an Executive MBA degree from Houston Baptist University and is a licensed member of the National Society of Professional Engineers.
